The Coal House - A Roadside Attraction

The Coal House was built in 1959 by Tip Myles and is located in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Built out of 30 tons of coal, it has served in the past as the West Virginia visitor center, a lounge, and a gift shop, but it is reportedly closed as of 2006.

There are also 2 more coal houses in West Virginia, one being just a few hundred feet from The Coal House, and the other being located in Williamson, WV.
